My Experience
When I visited Vaxholm, I went with a group of friends who I met in my hostel and we took the ferry to the island. We stopped by the supermarket to grab some food before walking to the north side of Vaxholm, where we were met with a stunning view. We walked from south to north Vaxholm, taking in the lush greenery and calming waters. It was a great experience to be surrounded by nature and history. Though we didn’t have enough time to visit the Vaxholm Fortress, we enjoyed a hot chocolate before catching the ferry back to Stockholm city.
